Hey there!
First day is over and there are somethings to tell (not much actually but well...)
I stood up waaaay to early and took the train to basel at 7:00 AM, after arriving there and getting some euros, I got on my bike and started my trip to Germany. As soon as I crossed the border I knew I was in a foreign country, just because there are actually real Biking-Lanes!!!
The southern Baden-Württemberg is really amazing with lots of small rolling hills and vineyards. It could have been a perfect day if it wasn´t for the rain which never exactly knew wether it wanted to start or not...
One more stunning thing were all those French cars which all went to the liddl and the aldi. Is germany even cheaper than France?
Finally I arrived at Freiburg i.B. Freiburg is such an awesome town to bike in, if it weren't for the tourists :p
after finding a hostel (BLACK FOREST HOSTEL - I kinda expected to see a werewolf or vampire at the receptionists desk ^^) I went to that little Bräuhaus we had been to with Jannick last time we were in Freiburg, ate and drank and then wandered around a little.
I'm getting quite tired now, and tommorow I've got to find the road to Strassbourg, so I'll end this post with :
That's all folks.
Truely yours
